HaHaHa ...this thread looks like the one from last year.
Better than a dozen folks claiming they were definitely going to go. When the smoke cleared only me & the wife made the trip down there. One, count 'em one car caravan, way to go NorCal folks. On the plus side, we did get the plaque for Furthest Distance. All kidding aside, last year's gathering was one hellava great time. Good folks, an awe-inspiring number of cars, excellent cruise through the mountains, well worth the effort to make the trip. Mark looking forward to seeing you again.

We left on Friday morning last year and it worked out well. We are planning on doing the same again this year. It really would be good to show up down there with more than one northern CA car. As it gets closer to the time we can figure out a good spot to meet up. Here's a bit of handy info in case one's wife is not as excited about going. There is a large outlet mall right across the street from the hotel. And there is a Dave & Buster's there as well, in case kids are involved.
