Call Ralph at Ralph's Hot Rod Heaven. His shop is in Sac. They are F-bod specialists. If he can't give you what you need he'll point you in the right direction.

HRH is the place to talk to for a new motor, especially since your in Sac. I think you should get rid of that wimpy 305 and get a minumum of a 350 ci. There are all sorts of crate motors around today that you could just purchase, and drop right into the camaro. Good luck with your new motor.

We can do it, but here's the issue.

GM High Tech Performance has a complete 350 C.I. motor for your car as a retro-fit, and includes all smog stuff and a complete exhaust system. This whole deal is CA SMOG LEGAL, and has a C.A.R.B. #.

The only problem is it is $7500 plus install.
There is no other way to do it legally.
